#Uchiko.

Once a prosperous hub for wax and paper production, Uchiko can be reached within thirty minutes by train from Matsuyama. One of the city's more noteworthy drawcards is the historic merchant district, an area filled with charming houses dating back to the Meiji Period.

#Ozu.

Lying next to Uchiko, the city of Ozu is a lovely place meander as one spots the brightly coloured koi-carp swimming along the streets. Those visiting on a Sunday can check out the Pokopen Yokocho, a street market featuring antique and food stalls.
