The cities of Uchiko and Ozu are great options for those wishing to venture out of Matsuyama for the day.

Journey Duration: Uchiko Station can be reached from Matsuyama in around 25 minutes on the Limited Express Train. From Uchiko, Iyo-Ozu Station lies roughly 10 minutes onwards.

Another great day trip option is the city of Imabari, not only does is offer plenty to see and do but it can also be reached within in a short amount of time.

Journey Duration: Limited Express trains run from Matsuyama to Imabari Station taking around 35 minutes.
