With the third largest population in Japan, Osaka is a thriving cosmopolitan city that has long been a popular destination for travellers heading to Japan. The city has long been renowned for having a vibrant food and shopping scene, with its many street food vendors and shotengai (covered shopping streets) being popular with both tourist and locals alike. In addition, the city of Osaka rewards would be visitors with numerous cultural and historical sightseeing options.

#Tondabayashi.
Lying southeast of the Osaka city area, Tondabayashi is a true gem that is sadly overlooked by most visitors to Osaka. One of the city's major attractions is the eye-catching Dai Heiwa Kinen Tō (Great Peace Prayer Tower), a uniquely shaped structure standing at 180 metres. The city is also home to the historic Jinaimachi district, an Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings dating back to around the mid-16th Century.
