Exploring Ibaraki Prefecture.

The capital of Ibaraki Prefecture and home to Kairakuen (one of Japan's top three landscape gardens), the city of Mito has plenty to occupy visitors. Note: the garden is best seen during the plum blossom season, when visitors can enjoy over 3,000 plum blossom trees in bloom.
