For many first-time visitors to Japan, catching a glimpse of Mount Fuji sits somewhere at the top of the list. For those lucky enough to get a clear viewing day, the city of Fuji offers a few lesser-known spots with uninterrupted views of the iconic mountain. In addition, the city also offers travellers a number of other interesting places to visit, for those times the mountain fails to make an appearance.
